A Theory about Carl's U.S. Death Certificate,
Says Carl's parents are
Father William Becker; Mother Wilhelmena Konsorke
According to Evangelisch Kirche Groß Tuchen, 1858/111.
Groom: Carl Becker, (age 30) b. 1858, s/o Wilhelm Konsorke and Wilhelmine Becker
Bride: Albertine Kiedrowski/a, (age 28) b. 1860 d/o Michael Kiedrowski and Johanna Archut.
Bride's illegitimate son: Emil Carl Kiedrowski whose name was changed to Becker at the time of the wedding
Marriage witness: Albert Archut age 38 (probably a cousin of the bride)
Do you supposed Carl and Albertine's kids got confused about their mother's maiden name and used their grandparent's information instead?
That could account for the combination of Albertine (mother) and Archut (grandmother).
